My studio practice uses both digital and traditional drawing and painting, to express feelings, to tell stories and to connect with others.
Having graduated from college with a degree in Interactive Media Design, I interned as a graphic designer for many months before starting my own freelance graphic design business. After almost a decade of designing logos, websites, and ads for various people around the country, I decided that I wanted to switch my focus to illustration and art.
It’s only natural that everyone puts pieces of themselves into their art. I have done many tasks in my life so far, that have only benefited my visual eye. Besides working as a designer, working in a photo lab and working as a custom framer have both allowed me to continue mastering colors, design, and composition. On top of that, I have studied as a voice actor and singer, which may not sound like it would help with being an artist, but there are a lot of surprising overlap between the two. All of my experiences have helped me grown and shaped my art and will continue to do so for as long as I can keep creating.
